New Single from Caleb Blair: TRopicana

Tropicana is an emotionally vulnerable, image-vivid bop filled with drum machine aesthetics , dreamy synths, and pop melodies from indie Nashville artist Caleb Blair.

A summertime feeling wrapped in three minutes, Tropicana is a vulnerable conversation on whether or not a relationship is forever or momentary. The lyrics, "You could be the one that I could wake up to," underlines the tension between hope and confusion on continuing what seems to be a promising romance. Caleb continues with ,"But there's a part of me that believes we're caught in the passion of youth," further sounding the common chord of trying to discern infatuation and real love so many twenty-somethings face.

Caleb remarks, "Tropicana was written out in a place of intense emotions of both feeling like the future was beautiful and set, yet so unclear and dangerous." The indie pop singer-songwriter remarked, "I've found 'Tropicana' really gave my mental war an outlet. I still don't have everything figured out and sometimes I just loop the lyrics of the bridge, 'good things take time' for perspective on my own chaos."
